What you’ll do:

 

• Assist the Animation Manager in overseeing the animation team, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient allocation of resources.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior animators, offering feedback on their work and supporting their professional development.
• Help resolve issues related to animation production, troubleshooting challenges, and ensuring the timely completion of tasks.
• Assist in the planning, tracking, and execution of animation projects, ensuring that deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., design, storyboarding, editing) to ensure a seamless production pipeline.
• Maintain project timelines, identify potential delays, and suggest solutions to meet project deadlines.
• Review animation work produced by the team to ensure consistency, adherence to style, and quality standards.
• Provide feedback on the technical aspects of animations (e.g., timing, motion, and rigging) and ensure continuous improvement in execution.
• Contribute creative ideas during brainstorming sessions and help develop concepts for animation projects.
• Assist in the creation of reference materials, guides, and style sheets to ensure consistency across animations.
• Report to the Animation Manager on the progress of ongoing projects and any challenges faced by the team.
• Facilitate communication between the animation team and other departments to ensure the smooth integration of animations within larger production workflows.
• Assist in the training and onboarding of new animators or team members, providing support and guidance to improve skills.
• Stay up-to-date with animation trends, tools, and software to help guide the team in adopting new techniques.
 

What you’ll need:

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Digital Media, Fine Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 3-5 years of experience in animation or a related field, with experience in supervising or leading teams.
• A compelling portfolio showcasing your expertise and creativity in producing high-quality explainer type animated videos.
• Familiarity with animation software ( mainly After Effects, Photoshop and illustrator ) and production pipelines.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating technical expertise and creative skills in explainer type animation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and mentor a creative team.
