Description

What You’ll Do:

  • Create high-quality 2D concept art for characters, environments, props, etc., specifically for animation and explainer videos.
  • Visualize storylines and design unique and engaging elements that align with project narratives.
  • Work closely with art directors, designers, and other members of the development team to ensure that the concept art meets the project’s vision and requirements.
  • Develop and iterate on design ideas based on feedback and critiques from the team.
  • Produce sketches, roughs, and final renderings using both traditional and digital media, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Meet deadlines and consistently deliver high-quality work under pressure.
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, techniques, and tools to continually enhance your artistic skills and knowledge.
     

What You’ll Need:

  • A degree in Fine Arts, Animation, or a related field is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a related field, with a significant focus on animation and explainer videos.
  • Strong artistic skills with a solid understanding of composition, color theory, and visual storytelling, particularly in the context of animated content and explainer videos.
  • Proficiency in digital art software, such as Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to take feedback and quickly revise work.
  • A portfolio demonstrating a range of high-quality concept art, with a focus on animation and explainer video projects.
